Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing for individuals

EMDR Therapy & EMDR Intensives

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is an evidence-based psychotherapy that helps individuals process and heal from traumatic or distressing life experiences.

When difficult experiences are not fully processed by the brain, the memories can remain “stuck,” leading to symptoms such as anxiety, emotional overwhelm, negative beliefs about oneself, or physical stress responses. EMDR therapy helps the brain reprocess these memories so they no longer feel as intense or disruptive.

Through guided bilateral stimulation (such as eye movements, tapping, or auditory tones), EMDR supports the brain’s natural ability to heal and integrate past experiences.

For many individuals, EMDR therapy can lead to meaningful relief in fewer sessions compared to traditional talk therapy.
