Therapy for Teens
Is Your Teen Struggling?
Adolescence can be a time of significant emotional, social, and developmental change. Many teens experience increased stress related to school, friendships, identity development, family relationships, and future expectations.
While some challenges are a normal part of growing up, other times teens may feel overwhelmed by anxiety, emotional distress, or difficult life experiences. When this happens, therapy can provide a supportive space for teens to better understand their emotions and develop healthy ways to cope.
At Initiative Therapy, I provide therapy for teenagers in Anaheim Hills and throughout Orange County, helping adolescents build emotional awareness, resilience, and confidence.
Supporting Teens and Families
Therapy for teens often works best when there is collaboration between the therapist, the teen, and the family. My goal is to create a supportive and respectful environment where teens feel comfortable sharing their experiences and developing new ways to manage challenges.
I also work with parents to help them better understand their teen’s emotional needs and support their growth outside of therapy sessions.
Together we can help teens build resilience, strengthen coping skills, and develop a greater sense of confidence and emotional well-being.
